Corrections Policy | Goatee.io

How to report a factual error on Goatee.io and how we review, correct and log changes to our content.

Corrections Policy

We want Goatee.io to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we fix it — and we are transparent about how.

How to Report an Error

If you find a factual mistake, an outdated detail, a broken link, or a claim that seems unsupported, please tell us:

  • Email: support@goatee.io
  • Include the page URL and a short description of the problem (and a source, if you have one).

We read every report and aim to respond within a few business days.

How We Handle Corrections

  1. Review — an editor checks the report against reliable sources.
  2. Correct — if the report is valid, we update the page. Clear factual errors are fixed promptly.
  3. Note the change — for material corrections (not minor typos), we update the page's "last updated" date so you can see it has been revised.
  4. Remove unsupportable claims — if a statement cannot be backed by a checkable source, we rephrase it qualitatively or remove it rather than leaving it unsourced.

What Counts as a Correction

  • Incorrect facts, dates, prices or product specifications
  • Statistics or claims without a verifiable source
  • Outdated information that is no longer accurate
  • Broken or misdirected links

Editorial opinions (for example which style or product we prefer) are clearly framed as opinion and are not "errors," but we welcome feedback on them too.
