Who Runs Goatee.io

Goatee.io is an independent web product built and maintained by a small team (the Goatee.io Editorial Team) that works on the simulator, the style library, and the written guides. We are not a barbershop or a medical provider — we are a grooming-visualization tool paired with practical, editor-reviewed content. How the AI Preview Works

When you upload a photo and pick a style, your image is sent to a third-party AI image-generation provider (such as Google Gemini or a partner image API) which returns a generated preview. Our optional "Style Match" face-shape estimate runs locally in your browser using Google MediaPipe — those facial measurements never leave your device.

The AI preview is an illustrative visualization, not a photograph of your future. Real results vary with your actual beard density, growth pattern, color and texture. We say so on the tool itself, and we do not claim a specific "accuracy percentage." How we handle your photos and data is described in our Privacy Policy.
